***EDIT IGNORE - I AM a IDIOT - i changed the drive's name where my home folder is located, so had to update this in system prefs - accounts - advanced - location etc'
Ive recently installed a SSD drive into my mp and put the user home folder on the internal 1tb supplied drive.
Ive now had a few permission problems and im getting a bit confused!
When attempting a screen grab, i get 'Your screen shot cant be saved' you dont have permission to save files in the location where screen shots [desktop] are stored'
Also, in mail, It doesnt save mail into the outbox ready for posting -
So theres some sort of permissions thing going on.
What i orginally did was clone my 1tb drive onto the SSD drive, deselecting 'USERS' folder,
Then once done, i went in to system prefs and changed my home folder location to the 1tb drive - the only problem i can see is there some apps reside on my 1tb drive, the others on the boot - maybe there getting intertwined with each other and like me, have become very confused.com/huh?
