To download 3.0, am I really not allowed to published apps until July? Or is there a way around it (or is it not even true?)?

Thanks!!!

I can't imagine you'd want to publish something that no one could use...

And no, there is no way around it.

Well, is it possible to have 3.0 on one computer, and 2.0 on another? If so, could I program on 2.0, release it, but also play around with 3.0?

Thanks again!

That certainly sounds fine. Write an application for 2.2.1 and test it on 3.0 for compatibility. Mind, you wouldn't be able to implement any of the new APIs, but you'd be able to publish the application and possibly rewrite it later for republishing under launched 3.0.

If you download Xcode, which I'm sure you have, you have the option of creating for 2.2.1 or 3.0. If you want to publish one sooner than when 3.0 is released then just create one for 2.2.1. Easy as that.

Yep, you've got it. Happy coding!

Yeah!

Another question (sorry, last one): Can I have the SDK on more than one computer? Because I have a laptop, and a desktop Mac. I'll mainly want to program on my desktop, but I'd to play around with 3.0 on the go, and tether :)))!

Thanks again for the help everyone!!!

May I ask if you had any programming experience? Your questions suggest that you have not had any, and you are assuming iPhone development is as simple as powerpoint presentation. Well...I guess if you are keeping it simple, it sort of is :).

No, I haven't (not much, at least). I'm actually asking for my friend (he doesn't have an account here). Sorry if I haven't been clear about my questions.

Thanks!
