Now that i think we can all agree that 1.1.4 is a bug fix why is it that apple still hasn't said anything about the SDK.
Surely their must be a reason.
What could it be that is preventing them from releasing the SDK.
It has been proven by now that programming for the iPhone is already pretty accessible without apple's official help. I mean for (I only changed this because sr5878 makes a good point) pete's (there happy) sake their are multiple emulators out there that work well. When you can make a jit compiler so that you can basically live translate from NES to ARM and not experience a slow down without any apple help.
That and the fact that short of the iPhone's microphone and EDGE, every part of the phone is avail to devs for use. It makes one wonder what the wait is all about.
Periodic firmware revisions seem to constantly thwart unlocking attempts. And I doubt they are waiting for the kill all third parties trick that Verizon has been pulling.
