I love the new SE. Though does it make the 6 and 6 plus more niche products? It doesn't make sense in my mind. It makes 6s form factor look like a stretch from the norm, and 6plus like you're over compensating for something :p .

I guess SE has same/higher profit margin for Apple - but they obviously think that the revenue loss due to lower price point, and cannibalising sales of 6s&6s+ will be made up by more SE sales.

It can't just simply be that different people might prefer different things and Apple is trying to provide more options to people that have different preferences?

Oh ffs, 4 inches suits some people, 4.7 inches suits other and 5.5 suits others. How bloody hard is this to understand.

4 inch phone users are not stuck in 2012 like one poster continually claims, and 5.5 inch users are not overcompensating for anything.
Thank you. Seems like ppl wanna open threads to open threads. Come on now

This right here. I love smaller phones, cant wait to get a SE. I loved my 6s, but missed having a smaller phone.

My brother-in-law only likes huge phones, never would have guessed that different people would have different taste.

What does this say? ;)

The difference is massive! 6S plus looks like a tablet by contrast.

On a side note, just realised that its hard to get a fully covered tempered glass protector with 6S plus, and that 5S has bigger bezel than I remembered.
That's a Sprint iPhone 5 and a Sprint iPhone 6+. I no longer have the 6+ because we ported out to T-Mobile, but I do have the 6s+ now and I still have the 5. I use the 5 as a media device. I used an older picture for this because the 6s+ I have now is the same size as the 6+ in the picture.

Note I also have an iPad Air 2. :D

I love my 5. It was the first Apple iPhone I ever bought brand new. But I got used to my 6+ and 6s+ very quickly and the size of the 5, which is the same size as the SE is not a size I will go back to.

I'm glad you like and want the size of the iPhone SE. But just because people want larger phones doesn't mean they are compensating for anything.

Or put another way…I've got two kids and my wife has no complaints - even after 19 years. ;)
