Seagate 1.5TB in Mac Pro?

Does anyone know if the Seagate 1.5TB hard drives are still having firmware issues or if Seagate has sorted it out? I would like to purchase one for my Mac Pro but will hold off if they are.

I'm using the Seagate 1.5TB drive in a Mac Pro for my iTunes library - it freezes iTunes every 5-10 minutes for around 20 seconds, and then carries on as normal.

I'm waiting to get a response from Seagate - but I've found several reports from others having the same problem, and not just with Mac Pros.
