Bought a couple of these as EBuyer in the UK had them half price a few months ago. Been doing some testing. Tested in a StarTech USB3 + UASP enclosure, and in a Lacie Rugged Enclosure via TB and USB. Quite shocked to see the Lacie perform much lower regardless of if using TB or USB.

Tested on my iMac.

I'm looking for a similar setup. But I'm not too familiar with Startech products.

Is this the enclosure you're using....

Did you need to run the optional ac adapter for power or was the USB bus power enough?
