I have a Seagate external b/u drive for my MacPro. It is 2 TB and has been working fine. I recently was instructed here how quick and easy it was to put my Mac back into extended journal after it hadn't been since I installed Snow Leopard a few years back. The other night I reformatted the ext drive to the journaled Mac and it will not sync to my Mac now.

The obvious option is to take my Mac out of journaled but that sounds to easy and does not address the knowledge I need as to what I did to make this happen. The ext drive was working fine before. I reformatted the ext drive using Disc Warrior if it makes a difference. The message I repeatedly get is that the ext drive cannot perform b/u's as it is not journaled.

Again, I probably made an assumption and glitched myself. Nothing new for me. I sometimes have problems with my gray software between my shoulders.

Thanks for any response. This is why I pay you folks the big bucks.:apple:
