For some reason, my Seagate Go drive (portable USB power hard drive) will not show up in Finder anymore. I can however see it on bootup and actually boot my backup on that drive. The last time I backed up was before I sent my MBP to Applecare to replace the logic board (fried video).

I thought it may be a power issue, but the drive doesnt work in either USB port and it doesnt make the beeping noise that it normally makes if I plug it in a USB hub (which cannot power the drive correctly).

Any ideas why the drive will not show up?

Update:

I left the drive connected and a window finally popped up stating my drive was unable to be repaired and I should back up the data ASAP. I am backing it up on another drive now.
