I am new here in the forums but I've been a visitor of MacRumors since iPhone 3G era
. I have an iMac now and I have a question regarding Seagate GoFlex 2TB USB3.0/2.0.
Here is my setup:
1) Airport Extreme
2) Seagate Hard Drive connected to USB in the AirPort Extreme.
(The hard drive was formatted on 4 partitions)
The hard drive has a wall plug and it is not just using the USB to power up. My question is if I am not using it, should I turn it off when it is not in use? Or, it is fine not to because from what I am seeing in the forums it has a feature of going to auto-sleep mode? Will the auto-sleep feature will still work even if I have reformatted the hard drive?
