Seagate Hybrid Drive- Missing Solid State?

I have recently installed a 500Gb Seagate Hybrid drive into my Macbook (black)
The hard drive part is running fine but there is no icon for the solid state part in my list of devices.

Does that mean that it is not running?

Everything is alright, as the 4GB of flash memory is allotted to the whole 500GB and is used for often used applications and documents.

OH, great that's cool as i was worried that it ought to show up separately... i had a horrid notion that I might have to re-format all over again. Phew!!
