I'm having difficulty finding out which version of the firmware is on my XT750. I've installed Win7 under Parallels and ran the Seagate utility. It returns, F.MSZ3Q4, but I have no idea what that means.

Whenever I click on the MomentusXT link at Seagate, I'm taken to firmware for the 250GB, 320GB and 500GB drives, no mention of the 750GB.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Go to "About this Mac"...then "More Info", then choose "System Report".

Under "Hardware" Choose "Serial-ATA"

The firmware revision will be found under the Drive information:

Most up to date firmware?

Most discussions have been talking about the SD-28 firmware being the most up to date, but on my XT 750 the "revision" is "SM12". Is that the most current? To make sure I was up to date I downloaded the SD-28 ISO and it doesn't support the "ST9750" model.

Thanks,
jdsam
