OK I got the partitioning to work and show up on my Mac desktop.
Now to get the drives to show up on the network.
TP Link AC 1750 Router.

I apologize if this has been posted. I searched for Seagate back up and did not find my issue.

I want to partition the 5TB backup plus drive to 3 sections and I am having trouble getting the first one to work. I want: 1 - 2 TB mac partition. 1 - 1 TB mac partition for Time Machine back up 1 - 2 TB windows partition and I want to see them over my router network.

I already got the 5tb plus to show up on my router network (network path to my router from my mac) without partitions and I backed up once using Time Machine. I only have 500 GB on my hard drive. so using 5 TB seems dumb and I can't seem to use the Seagate just to store files of to run my iTunes on if Time Machine is on it.

I tried to erase the disk to set it up as a mac disk but it wouldn't let me - ERROR. I tried partitioning but I couldn't set up a Mac journaled partition because I couldn't get to the "Enable journaling" option.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
