Seagate vs WD Portable External Hard Drive

I'm new to MacRumors.
I purchased a 'Seagate Backup Plus for MAC' and a 'WD My Passport For MAC'.
I want to use one for a Time Machine backup and the other for randomly backing up my media files on my MBP.
Any suggestions on which would be better to use for the Time Machine backup would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely zero difference between those drives. They are both USB 3.0 laptop 2.5 inch drives. Just flip a coin. The brand does not matter.
