Is there a way to select a folder full of hundreds of files and do the following:

1. remove certain words from all of the files but leave the rest of each file name alone?
2. Delete text files that match specific names from each folder?

Thanks.

1. Yes: select all the files you want to rename, right click > "Rename X Items...". Now select "Replace Text", then type the word you want to remove into the first field ("Find"), leave "Replace with" empty. You'll see a preview at the bottom. Now just hit "Rename" and repeat with more words if needed.

2. Not sure if that's what you're aiming at, but in that case it should be enough to type the name into the search bar on the top right (make sure you're searching the folder where the files or the folder with the files are located) and delete them.
