I want to search all of my documents for specific text. Is there a way?

Extensions are:
.webarchive
.pdf

Thanks, that works.

But Documents does not show up ... instead what shows up is This Mac followed by my user name and Contents to the right of that. Clicking on Documents over to the left moves me to the Documents folder which is not where my documents are.

I found that if I first open the folder where the documents are then Cmd-F and then I do see my document folder name and the word Contents after that.

Yep. Me too. That's not what I thought it was doing. So I guess if you know which folder you want to search in, it works.
