Search engine for OS X 10.6.8

What is the best search engine to use with OS X 10.6.8
Safari Version 5.1.10 (6534.59.10) has issues and Firefox 40.0.3, which is up to date is also having issues as of late.
Any suggestions?

Reset Firefox to Factory Condition.

Opera is a good alternative as well.

Update OS X(If H/W supported)
