Search engine selector concept...

Press and hold the Google button and you get a popup, like the alt keyboard characters. Drag your thumb to highlight the search method you want, then release and tap to use the new search.

Edit/arrange your search engine list directly on the phone in Safari Settings, and/or in iTunes.

I think this would be swell. YMMV.

Or it would be cool if by doing that a list of different types of searches came up e.g. image web video.
