As anyone here notice search engines are starting to do spell check search and emitting what you type.

It is no secret that Google search engine has the best spell checker. But it is not spell checker giving you an option of what is correct spelling and you select what you want that is not what the problem is at all.

But what I find in past month and getting worse is search engine doing a spell check search.

Example every one knows what fusion power means. And when doing a search on say fusion power. The problem is that say a video game that has word fasionon not an english word. The word fasionon is not a english word. But that say it is word in a video game. Well if I type fasionon in search and do search the search engine will filter this out and only show word fusion. It should not be showing fusion results.

I ran into the same problem searching names like say Spanish name. Names and quotes in movies and songs.

The other day I was searching for some song where the party at or where the party left. The search engine was showing the word body not party. I want the word party not body.

Other thing is plural vs singular search. If I’m searching for some thing plural that say the word balls and I add the S the search engine shows ball. No I want balls not ball. And I cannot force plural search.

It could be a quote, movie, song or some thing that some one said so I want plural not singular.

Well search engine normally always give you option saying do you mean fusion not fasionon? But even if I select fasionon it still shows fusion results. No I don’t want fusion I want fasionon a name of game.

It was not like that last year this is some thing new that search engines are doing now.

Anyone here having this problem and what to do about it.

if you go to google.com and input “fasionon” (in quotes) in the search field no autocorrection is done. you can then further narrow the search results by adding -facebook or -twitter to exclude both sites from the results, etc.

DDG has the option below the search bar that lets you search only for the exact wording of your search.

Looking at both search engines side by side and seeing what is the best.

Brave Search vs DuckDuckGo: What is the best?

I find Bing the best at showing message boards, reddit, Quora and forums. Well Google comes in second. And Duckduckgo is just beyond terrible at showing message boards, reddit, Quora and forums.

Well Duckduckgo really seem to hate reddit and quora for some reason.

Have not not tested Brave search.

Startpage – the world’s most private search engine.

Anyone here used startpage other than DuckDuckGo or Google? How is startpage at showing than Google or DuckDuckGo?
