iPod touch search feature in ical + evernote vs iconic

is there a way to search ical on the ipod touch? i had that feature on my palm and miss it.
is there a 3rd party app that wld work?

i was also looking for an app that allow me to organize notes on my touch, sync with my mac and that i can see on my touch when i do not have internet access. from what i have read in this forum,evernote will do this, but iconic will not. is that right?

Have you figured out how to search the calendar on your Touch yet? I've just switched from a Palm device to the Touch, and am missing some of the functionality too! Thanks
