search for 24" LED backlit display IPS, MATTE, non apple

like apple computers, but don't care about their unusable mice and glossy monitors without height adjustment etc.

currently i have DELL U2410 - outstanding monitor, many input ports, adjustable, can rotate to portrait etc. Great color.

I only wish it had LED backlit to cut power consumption. No luck so far with other manufacturers.

EIZO makes one for $2200...

Run a search on LED IPS panel.

You're right. LG has them on the market in Europe, but not in the US. I think that LG is the display vendor for the Apple displays.
