Search for Flight 370 turns up an uncharted shipwreck in the Indian Ocean

Not the most earthshaking news, but the MH 370 searchers found a 19th century shipwreck nearly 4km down in the abyss.

Who they were, where they were going, and the ship's name will never be known.

The majority of the contacts were comparatively small – around the size of a cricket ball

That's pretty interesting. Would be cool if someone ever does identify it.

It's also good to know that their system does work to find things like that so if they search the right place they will be able to see the plane.
