Search in Pages' Open dialog doesn't find .pages files

I have iWork '09 on a 13" Macbook Pro. If I open Pages and go to the Open dialog, then use the search field to try to find a document, none of my .pages documents show up, whether I search in the current folder, "This Mac", or "Home". Both Contents and File Name search do not display my .pages documents. They do show up if I use Spotlight from the menu bar or in a folder, but not in Pages. They also show up if I use the Open dialog in another application, like iTunes.

Any ideas?

A similar issue appears to be with Numbers, too.

If you try to add "Content Creator" to your search, and add Pages or Numbers, it still doesn't find the file. This is really strange.
