search iphone not returning results?

I have the iPhone 4, and if I go to search iPhone, it only lets me search the web or wikipedia? If I search for a song, or app that I KNOW is on the phone it won't bring any thing up. I've looked all through settings and can't find any way to set the search feature? It's been doing it for a while, and I just installed the latest ios with no luck fixing it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Goto settings->General-> Spotlight settings and choose the things, you want to search for (i.e. IPod, Apps...)
