Hi folks, I have a problem with performing basic searches with the OS and I wondered if anyone here might be able to help me please.
I have had Big Sur on my Mac Mini M1 for a few months now, but I have noticed that sometimes a standard search within the OS does not display the correct breadcrumb location for the files I am searching for.
Not only that, but I find that when I click on the file in the search results, it will not open.
Instead of identfying the correwct location for the file, it seems to think it is a file within Calendar or some othwer program. Often when I click on the file to open it, in the case of a simple image file, a completely different opens up in Preview, only with the same name.
Has anyone else come across this before?
