Search not working in Mail?

Anybody else's Search not working in Mail?

I'm using google imap, and have re-enabled the All Mail thing, I've forced Mail to re-index, I've deleted and recreated the acct. Search still doesn't return anything. Strangely, emails do show up in spotlight search.

Anyone else hit this?

solved...

here's the situation in case anyone runs into it too...

I'd gotten a new rmbp (running mavericks) and set it up using migration assistant via an ext drive containing a timemachine backup from my older mbp (running mountain lion). Everything moved over as expected, but Mail search wasn't returning anything for the first day.

I just had to leave the new machine on overnight and let mail do it's thing and search started working again.
