Hi all. As I rarely buy music from Apple's iTunes Store I am confused as to what happened to the search bar?

Here's what my Music App looks like:

And here is what Apple says it should look like on the top right of the screen, an option for Apple Music, Library or the iTunes Store.

I'm sure there's an easy explanation that eludes me right now. I ended up buying the songs through the iOS iTunes Store but it would be great to know how it's nowadays done with MacOS.

Cheers.

It's the search bar in the top left. You have to click it to get the right-side options to pop up.

Apple is making it intentionally confusing to punish you for not subscribing. I think you should punish their poor decisions and buy your songs somewhere else. You can now buy lossless files online for many songs, and Apple hides that behind their subscription service.

Oh I see now..what a convoluted UI it has become with an extra step really. My mistake was to assume that if I click on iTunes Store in the left menu, then a search bar should come up. So now it's Search > choose where to search.

I do usually buy high Rez files for my HiFi, mainly DSD or SACD (less and less out there) but this purchase was simply a post nightshift error-tilt purchase. :)

Thanks for the prompt reply and solution, I'll mark it as resolved now.

Cheers
