Search or show unread email only

on iPhone 4 is there a way to search for, or just display, unread email only?

I have about 5 unread emails going back a few weeks. Instead of scrolling through the entire inbox, can I just see a list on unread(s).

If it matters, I have an Exchange account and Gmail account on the phone

I am also interested in this as well. I'm jailbroken; perhaps there is a way to do it with JB that's not possible without?

I use Lockinfo with my jailbroken iPhone. It shows me all my unread emails (even ones I read, and then mark as unread - unlike notification centre which won't show any that were opened and marked unread).
