..Searched but: Is There A Way to Add Songs & STILL have iTunes Match on iPhone?

I dont want to lose the music & mixtapes I have saved on my iphone, but I want to turn my iTunes Match so all the music I have backed up I can have on here. But some reason when I synch my ipod, it removes all of the hard copy songs I move to my device. How do I change this..?

Mixtapes and your own music, more than likely, won't get matched (although there are some mixtapes on itunes) so it'll all get uploaded to the cloud. So just go to your iDevice and download the music from the cloud. No need to sync anything.
