I want to rename some parts of some of my files and so I search for a certain string using the Finder's search function.
I find x number of files and I rename them. All OK.
I then search for a different string (to do another rename) and some of the files that appear in the results have the string I previously searched for.
Thus, not all the files I originally searched for appeared in the search results and so were not changed.

Anyone know what this is is happening?
I thought it might be becasue there are a few thousand of these files and so this might cause a problem.

My OS is Monterey.

Hi
Try to log out and login into the system. Maybe an indexation is a culprit but don't think so as it locates files without problem (well, almost)
