searching for KVM hard switch

I have a MacPro with two DVI graphic cards and one monitor. I like to use a KVM switch to choose which card I'll be using my monitor with. I have tried one DVI KVM but it always left the non-active card in powered mode. Meaning, the computer would continue to recognise that something is connected. Anyone, know a working DVI KVM model which will hard switch, as in powering off the DVI path?

I don't understand why it matters if there is power to both video cards. I am guessing that one of the video cards it much more powerful than the other maybe you use it for gaming or something?? Anyway, I just bought two KVM switches to control my Mac Pro and G5. Here are the one's I bought and am very happy with so far.

..simply, as the OS otherwise would think there are two monitors connected and adjust the desktop accordingly :S . also, it won't stress that card if it is not being used anyway.

..not gaming but 3D modeling and ray tracing ; )
