As a old school gamer i hope to find some clones for some of my favorit games to the ipad.
I am looking for a game/games similar to the old round based strategy games like laser squad, x-com, jagged alliance and so forth.
I would also love some kind of elite or privateer clone.
I also played a mech strategy game on my amiga back in the days. It was played out on a hex card and one could upgrade mechs, build new mech designs from scratch and salvage other mechs. I cant remember what it was called but it was realle fun and addictive.
A strategy game like panzer general, allied general or fantasy general would also be sweet.
I would also love some kind of space/planet strategy game where one has to build up colonies, do research, trade and so forth.
Does anyone know any nice ipad games that would fit into any of the above areas?
