Hey, I'm considering buying a MBP soon. It is 5 weeks old, but no apple care. Will I be able to purchase apple care for myself? If so, how would I go about doing that? Do I need the original receipt?

Also long as the unit is still under the first year. You can buy apple care for. As for the other question is if you want it to be the same date as when the other person bought it. So if he bought it on the 20th of the month and apple site says something different like the 25th. Then you will be missing 5 days of the original date of sale. I bought a few second hand machines and never had any problems with apple care..
