Hello, I have just been doing some switching of programs and what not, from my computer and my dads, I had take out and switch HD's because my ipod is not mounting . Now, my dad has all the programs he needs, and 2 HD's, but i only have one....my second HD is located in the zip bay, because i have a blue and white, and i've heard if you put two HD's in the actual bay, you will get corruption, it has been a lot of trouble to take out the zip bay and continuously put the HD back in, the jumpers are set to slave, i just can't get it to mount, it might be because the power cords aren't all the way in... but i've checked them over, and it is such a pain to open the zip bay and get my hands in behind the optical drive!!!

HELP!!!!

I don't know about your machine, but the PowerMac G4s all seem to require that the drive jumpers be set to Cable Select (CS). So this could be your issue.
