whenever i run second life on my macbook the fans constantly stays on and the bottom burns up. any suggestions?

No. The Second life client isn't intel-native, for one, so it uses more processing power, hence the heat and fan.

Secondly, the client is buggy and inherently processor-intensive, simply due to the nature of the programme.

You can download SMC FanControl and mess around with the fan settings, if you like. Otherwise there's not much you can do.
