Second Life on a MacBook

I have a MacBook Pro and Second Life works great... thinking of getting a MacBook for my partner... will she be able to run Second Life? I'm concerned that the Intel integrated graphics just aren't up to snuff on the MacBook.

Anyone with DIRECT EXPERIENCE please reply. Thanks!

My mistake, i just tried it again. It DOES work on the mini and MacBook.

Uh... I played SecondLife on my white MacBook. It ran fine.

I guess I'm really out of the loop on something. I thought "Second Life" was a gag from the Office. I didn't realize it was real.

thanks. I had bought her one of the high-end consumer grade Sony's... and it has the Intel X3100 but it won't run Second Life... was worried that the same fate had befallen the MBs

What's the latest rumor on the release of new MBs? New graphics cards??

I must confess, I found this thread somewhat disappointing. I was hoping that you'd resurrected a MacBook, which could serve as the foundation of a religion (or cult).

New Santa Rose MacBooks DO NOT RUN SECOND LIFE

Unfortunately, I invested in a new Santa Rosa MacBook (black base model) and it will NOT run Second Life for more than a minute without crashing... even requiring a FULL RESTART of the Macintosh using the power button. Second Life really just can not run on integrated graphics.

Major disappointment!!!
