Hi there,

So I got a MacBook Pro in March. In May the MagSafe cable right at the bit where it goes into the plastic head that goes into the computer started to rip but I didn't really care... But by mid July it stopped working completely... So end of July took it into the Apple store and they didn't ask anything they just gave me a new one (making me think it's not the first time one had been in). So now, just around three or so months after that, this one has stopped working. It's not ripped this time, it just doesn't work. I can push the cable really hard into the head and it will work a bit for a while, then stop again. Is there some kind of problem with these MagSafe things? My old PowerBook power adapter never had this issue, and I don't think it's about the way I handle it because none of my other electrical gear has this problem, including all my other Apple stuff.

Thanks
