Hi all,

I bought my first MBP in August, but I had some issues with it

I have had my second MBP for 14 days today and I have run into two more (relatively minor) issues. First, there is a red stuck pixel towards the middle of the screen and in the past 2 days or so, the track pad has frozen a 2 or 3 times as well (only for a few seconds though).

Anyway, should I ride it out with the issues? I tried to fix the pixel, but to no avail.

Should I call Apple and ask for another replacement? I know these issues are relatively minor, but I paid a good deal of money for my machine and I don't want any issues out of the gate..

Thoughts?

I would at least try to get a replacement, though I'm not sure how far you'll get.
They will most likely not do anything about the stuck pixel.

However, is your trackpad freezing constantly? If thats the case, i don't see why you shouldn't get a replacement. If its only been 2-3 times, you might have a harder time.

Replace it since you've only had it for 14 days. I would not be able to tolerate a stuck pixel, especially a red one..
