So, I did a search and can't seem to find anything that would let me use my iPad as a second display on nonhome networks. For example, on corporate wireless or hostspots (Starbucks, etc). I was wondering if anyone might know of an app that would allow manual IP entries and doesn't disable my dual graphics (MBP 2011). Thanks for any help!

I just bought Air Display, and so far it seems to work very well, just a slight lag, but that is to be expected. The connection for it works over wireless. It is supposed to work as long as your computer and iPad are on the same wireless network. Hope this helps.
