5c and now 6. Jony Ive isn't as good as a designer as he thinks.

It was said that Steve Jobs was involved in the product design of future products to last 5 years after his death,

And it shows, from the design of iOS to the phones themselves. /sarcasm

Esp. when Jony Ive and co decide to do what they want instead of what Steve Jobs liked.

"Apple hires superstar designer Marc Newson, to work with personal friend Jony Ive"

And?

Who gives a ****** what it looks like. Its a tool, not a fashion statement.

The back of the phone is hideous. I am sure it will feel great in hand though, the 5.5 is very big though, I think I'm going for that.

Personally I think it looks great. I like how it goes back to the rounded edges of the older iPhone models.

I bet you stick your phones in cases and turn around and sell them every year right?

Some of us actually want to like looking at the devices we purchase. They may be a tool, but if no one cared for design Apple wouldn't be in business.

For myself, I am not spending well over $500 for a device I will have as my primary phone for two or more years that I do not like looking at. And I hate cases.

Do what you will, the iPhone 6 is not for me. I will stick with my iPhone 5, a phone whose design I love that is a color (black) that Apple does not make any more.

I personally liked it. The seamless transition around the edges seem good with the "space grey" one. I'm annoyed that the 5.5" has premium features tho. I have to see and play with one personally do decide but I'm leaning towards regular 4.7". Considering I have been living with a 4S for the past 3 years + a 3G for 3+ years before that.
