I used to be able to secondary click with two fingers and not have to also click on the mouse thing, but all of a sudden it won't let me and I have to also use the mouse at the same time.

It also won't let me click with one finger on the trackpad to click on something - now I have to use the mouse pad. By mouse I don't mean something that is plugged in, I mean trackpad mouse.

I've checked the settings and secondary click is enabled, but it still requires me to also click on the mouse with a third finger.

All the other finger functions work perfectly, it is just these.

It just randomly happened, I didn't change any settings or anything.

I've tried shutting down the computer, restarting and other suggestions, but still having to use a third finger to secondary click.

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Re: Secondary Click Stopped Working

On my MBA, it's ability to recognize a double-click on the trackpad goes away every few months, but it easily fixed by going into the trackpad preferences and reset it by disabling and then re-enabling the feature
