hey,

I just wondeirng what is the best sercet app to mointor texts messages? I have a feeling my wife is cheating on me, and i was looking for an app that would sercetly copy every text message she sends and recieves and either sends it to my phone or sends it to my email.........is there any app like this that exists?

It would have to be jailbroken, and even then, I don't know.

Would it work to restore her iPhone onto yours? I think iCloud backups record iMessages, so if you restored your phone as hers (need her iCloud password) you could see them.

I'm not positive, but check it out.

Why don't you just ask her to see the text messages on her phone?
Tell her you have some doubts in your mind and would like to clear them up.
If she doesn't have anything to hide she will let you.
But in general communication should be the key rather than snooping behind her back. If she becomes secretive and wants to hide things from you and becomes more secure conscious then that's a sign of something is going down.

seems like OP is in the type of situation that would benefit more from technical support rather than emotional support/ relationship advice...lol.

My ex-gf had an app that she could set a passcode to so no one could get into it and read her messages, but always claimed that I could see her phone cause she didn't have anything to hide. To sum it all up, she was cheating on me.

If I may ask, what gives you the impression she's cheating on you?

The best thing for you to do is to request a transcript of the text messages from the phone company, granted you are the account holder of her phone. If you confront her and she is cheating she will lie and possibly become more secretive. Spend more time with your wife and try to observe her behavior when she recieves texts and try to notice if there's a pattern, most people who cheat establish a routine. Last but not least, try "losing" your iPhone in the house while she's there and say you need hers to use "find my iPhone" and just look at the texts...

I think no phone company is tracking and keeping text messages of their customers for privacy regulations ... And surely they aren't going to give him any.

Oh but you're wrong text messages are kept by all cellphone companies, how do you think police get a hold of text messages and use them in criminal cases? Also I have a couple of married friends whose wives have gotten text transcripts to see if any cheating is going on...it's a simple call to the cell company to get it

I have had the conversation with her a few times, and she says I shouldn't be worried but she still acts shady from time to time. Simply checking her phone doesn't provide me with the ease of mind I would like since she may be deleting anything that is inappropriate and if she is deleting inappropriate messages backing up her phone on my laptop wouldn’t solve the problem either. I appreciate the relationship advice and i hate that i have had to resort to this kind of behaviour but i just need to know! So back to my original question.....does such an app exist?

And no. It doesn't. At least not without jailbreaking

forgive me if I wasn't clear enough...your Texts and even iMESSAGES are accessible by law enforcement and by the request of an officer of the court aka your lawyer upon request and or the presentation of a subpoena...how do I know this? because I used iMessages in family court in a child support dispute

would depend if the texts are coming as normal texts or as imessage messages.


you can log into her apple ID in your phone under imessage settings. of course this means she cant text you as you arent logged in as you, but any imessage messages will ping into your phone..

You would need to ask Apple for the iMessage logs.

a quick phone call from an attorney to both parties....big deal...actually you can get it all through Apple because they keep a back up of your SMS messages in iCloud as well...again how do I know? because I used iMessages in a family court case...my attorney had no problem whatsoever getting all messages sent between me and my child's mother...the subpoena was sent to AT&T though
