I really don't understand your question myself. I have the Secrets preferences pane installed and use it on occasion to change some system settings (similar to Onyx, MacPilot, etc.) which is what it is made for.

Is it worth it? Since it is free I would have to say so. What do you need to watch out for? You've got me.
