Sectional DVD Ripping

Hey. I'm trying to take home movies on DVDs and I want to rip certain sections. Not chapters, but 5-15 second clips.
Any programs that will let me select sections to rip?

iDVD or iMovie?

I am not 100% sure but I thought I remembered you could.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

A few programs spring to mind:

1. Cinematize: Link

2. DVDxDV: Link

Neither of the above are free, but both do exactly want you want.

If you already have the Mpeg2 plugin for Quicktime, you can trim DVD parts using the free and excellent Mpeg Streamclip: Link
