Is there an secure way of erasing hard discs on mac? I have an upcoming need for this to do at work but:

- Has to be either bootable media, USB or CD
- Need somekind of logfile or report of the result, proof of erasing, saved on USB-stick.
- Support for both, PowerPC and Intel.

The OSX installation media is not an option, i know there is an option to overwrite the hard drive up to 35 times, but this way, i can't create an report by any means.

DBAN would be nice, but so far testing with Powermac G4 DP867 i haven't been able to erase the disc. It tries, but does only 5 sec erasing = nothing.

OnTrack doesn't offer Mac-version, so far i know of.

Suggestions?
