Secure iPhone dock?!?!

I have an iPhone 4S and have a Apple brand dock at work, next to my bed (on night stand), and on my computer desk (next to my MacBook Pro). I love being able to pull the bottom of my case off and just dock it!

My issue is that the little dock slides around. It's a pain having to stand up & reach over my stuff at work to hold the dock with one hand to pull the phone out.

It needs to be heavier so that it does not lift up when I pull my phone out. Should I just use thick double faced tape, or does anyone have any better suggestions?

Or are there any better docks out there for the 4S?

I dock it and leave this app running while its docked to have a clock and weather always next to me

are you able to dock one handed? I thought i saw some videos/reviews saying it couldnt. could be confusing it with another dock though.

are you able to dock one handed?

I've been able to both with the Apple Universal dock and the Elevation dock.
