Was wondering if anyone can recommend a solution for me.
I would like to have documents available to my users online, where they access them with login/password using a browser, AND the documents are not searchable with, say, Google, so making password protected web page with DreamWeaver is out. These docs can be Word, PDF, Excel, pictures in a number of formats, and perhaps other "odd" formats.
I have looked at Digital Locker by Xythos, but was hoping to keep it local and CHEAP.

I was thinknig of setting up an ftp solution, but my users are all over the map as far as ability, so I want it to look like a web site they normally see, not a mounted drive and such....
LDAP support would be GREAT as well.
Thanks.

Possible Solution

Hi Les,

Couldn't help noticing you are looking for an solution like digital lockers but is much less expensive. Were you aware of Xythos On Line? http://www.xythos.com/xod.html

We host it and it doesn't have LDAP support but it might work for your situation.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Lindsey
