Secure Safari Preferences

I need to set the preferences in Safari one time and then secure it. I support Macs in classrooms across the state and students are constantly changing preferences and complaining that things don't work. I can't figure out which MCX keys can lock the preferences or find a plugin. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

seems sensible.
