Our public library is going to buy an iMac 27" this week. We have PCs and this is our first Mac.
I know the security cables are not infallible but it would slow someone down giving us better pics on our security cameras.
I saw this listed and it's says "Compatibility: 2010 and 2011 iMac models."

Do you think it would fit the new one (2017)?

Any alternatives?

Thanks

I bought this one to try http://amzn.to/2gMexOC and unfortunately, it did not fit 2017 27" iMac even though the iMac is supposed to be "Kensington Security Slot". I am puzzled why it doesn't fit.

Can someone tell me what to buy that would work?

update: I bought the maclock cable lock and it works fine. It's a bit expensive with sales tax and shipping added.
