need recommendations for security dvr with 10 to 16 wired cameras, which will support viewing more than real time footage (i.e.-what happened 2 hours ago?) from an iphone4. not interested in web-cams or wireless or fancy ip cameras. seems many dvrs (and apps) "support" iphone, but don't give ability to access full dvr functions. anyone know if slingbox could be used? ideally, the dvr would
be triplex with support for dynamic dns & auto-restart after power failure. also don't need ptz. seems simple, but it's flumoxing me! having a built-in web server would also be nice. The computer it could attach to would be hp running windows xp, and the router is a linksys n ultra wrt400n, though that could be replaced if anyone knows a solution to this puzzle. many thanks in advance, and yes, I have been researching this for several weeks, but then again, I don't have much tech know-how & will be depending upon the goodwill of my sons to install. Full function remote viewing on the iphone is the priority here.
