I don't think this has been posted before, but I've just found this news article:

It seems that Safari will automatically execute certain shell scripts if they are placed in a ZIP archive. The safest way around this is to turn off the "Open Safe Files" option in the "General" preferences pane under Safari prefs.


No need for any panic - just thought you'd like to be aware, especially after what's been happening recently :)
 
Thanks for the info! You must not have seen it, but it was covered in this thread here. Still, it's good to see that people are alert to these threats.
